Benalmádena - Fuengirola
Boat trips on the Joven María II between Fuengirola port and Puerto Marina, Benalmádena. Sailings daily, from Fuengirola: 11.30, 13.30, 15.30; and from Benalmádena, 10.30, 12.30, 14.30.

Benalmádena - Torremolinos
Puerto Marina, Benalmádena to Torremolinos round trip, sailings daily. Take the boat to Fuengirola or Benalmádena and stop off and visit their street markets and explore the towns or relax on an evening boat trip from Benalmádena along the coast towards Torremolinos and back.

Cadiz - El Puerto de Santa Maria

This Ferry service from Cadiz Harbour to Muelle de Vapeur in the centre of El Puerto de Santa Maria is out of action for the foreseeable future due to the sinking of the ferry which operates the service ´EL Adriano III´ in August of this year. All 80 passengers and crew members were safely evacuated. There is a bid to reinstate the service in future so watch this space.

El Rompido village to Barra del El Rompido
Visit the sandy spit with its magnificent virgin beaches opposite El Rompido village, by taking the small boat that ferries visitors across the Río Piedras estuary. The spit is part of a nature reserve, the Paraje Natural Río Piedras y Barra de El Rompido. Take your own food and drink.


San Lucar de Barrameda to Doñana
Ferry across the mouth of the Guadalquivir river from San Lucar de Barrameda to the fringe of the National Park of Doñana, the largest marshlands in Europe. Special permission is required to enter the park at this point. The ferry is used by the pilgrims, their horses, mules and carts, on their way to El Rocio festival. each May. This is a sight not to be missed.

AYAMONTE - VILA REAL DE SAN ANTONIO
Ferry trips daily with Transporte Fluvial del Guadiana, from the Muelle de Portugal in Ayamonte to Vila Real in Portugal across the Guadiana. Before the bridge spanning the river just north of Ayamonte was opened, this ferry used to be the main access route between southern Spain and Portugal.

From October to June, boats leave every 40 minutes from 0940 until 2000 Monday to Saturday. On Sundays the trips start at 1030 until 1830, also at 40-minute intervals. From July to September boats run every 30 minutes from 0930 until 2100 daily. Fares are €1.10 adults, €0.60 children. Cars and bikes can also go on the ferry.

HUELVA - PUNTA UMBRIA
In the summer only, from 15 June until 15 September, a boat leaves from the puerto (port) in Huelva City and goes to the puerto in Punta Umbría. In the early twentieth century when Punta Umbría became increasingly popular as a seaside resort, the barco de vapor (steamboat) from Huelva was the only was to get there. The boat is no longer a steam boat but it is still called the 'vapor'. The boat takes 35 minutes and departs every two hours between 0800 and 2100. Tickets cost 1€.

SANLUCAR DE BARRAMEDA - PARQUE NACIONAL DOÑANA
Take the Real Fernando ferry from Sanlúcar de Barrameda 13km up the Guadalquivir river to the Parque Nacional Doñana, one of Europe's largest marshlands. The trip takes 3½ hours and includes several guided walks into the park itself. Tickets cost 15€. Boats leave daily at 10am (except January).
