The National Association of Breeders of the Andaluz
Donkey, is based in Estepona, 2 kms inland from Coto La Serena Golf
Club and was formed to save this special breed in danger of extinction,
as recognised by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries
in 2001.
