Set in a 27 hectare farm overlooking orange groves, only 8 km inland from the sea at Sotogrande, this unique old "cortijo" has recently been restored with great care to retain all the original features and charm. All 11 rooms have en-suite bathrooms, bath with shower over, and tea and coffee facilities. There is an 11 metre pool for guest use set in an exotic garden which has plants collected from all over the world and propagated in the nursery on the farm. There are ceiling fans in most rooms for the summer and central heating for winter evenings. There is a spacious lounge and breakfast room for those not wishing to sit out under the palm trees. There is an honesty bar available. An abundance of good restaurants are close by, also 7 prestigious golf courses, 3 polo grounds, horse riding & bird watching. Boat trips off Gibraltar to see dolphins or whales or a quick ferry ride or flight across the straits to North Africa. An ideal situation for day trips to the Andalucian cities and white villages. We are 1 1/4 hours from Malaga Airport and 30 minutes from Gibraltar airport.

We are near the village of San Martin de Tesorillo in the Guadiaro River Valley a five miles ( 8 km ) inland from Torrequadiaro and Sotogrande on the Coast. Turn inland from the A7 Coast road or the Toll Motorway at the interchange at km 133. Pass through the village of San Enrique on the A2102 and in the next village, Secadero (km 10) the road bears left then take next right before river and continue 2km along tarmac road. Cortijo Papudo is on the left. 100m. up the first hill.
