Seville Province - Albaida del Aljarafe

The story of Albaida del Aljarafe starts with a Turdetani civilization that decided to name to town Kaelia. Several centuries later, during the Roman era, it was turned into an important commercial town that even developed its own currency.

The economy of the town is principally sustained by an agricultural industry, more specifically with its' olive industry. But apart from the 703 hectors of Olive groves, there are other important forms of cultivation such as that of grain, oil seeds and livestock.
