Brenes is a town that originated in the Visigoth era and whose name comes from the Mozarabic word “Berené”. During the Roman era the town’s name changed to Qulumbira and again to Billa Nuva during Arabic rule.
To get to Brenes from Seville city (which is only 20km away) you take the A-8002 and then the A-8004.
