Salteras, built upon a small hill, was inhabited during the prehistoric ages and also through the Roman and Muslim civilizations, but it appears that it was only converted into a town after the Christian conquest. You’ll find the old part of Salteras in the town centre and on the periphery you’ll find new residences – houses designed for and aimed at commuters to Seville city.
