Accommodation in Barcelona
The five star Arts hotel swimming pool and the amazing Frank Gehry fish, two icons of Barcelona.

Barcelona is home to some of the world’s top five star luxury hotels. However, there is also a wide variety of hotels in every star category as well as simple accommodation in the form of “pensiones”, “hostales” and youth hostels which are called “albergues” in Spanish.
If luxury is what you’re looking for then check out the Eurostar Gran Marina five stars (plus and L for luxury) inside the World Trade Center and close to the harbour. Other hotels that add an L to their string of stars are the Hotel Omm, Casa Fuster, Gran Hotel Florida, Hotel Rey Juan Carlos I, the Majestic Hotel and Spa Barcelona and Hotel Claris. Thanks to events such as the 1992 Olympics, this cosmopolitan European city is ready to greet royalty, top international film and music stars, world leaders and the like. However, keep in mind that each and every one of these establishments will happily roll out the red carpet for you too. So don’t hesitate to treat yourself to a night in one of Barcelona’s best hotels.
Five star luxuries represent just one side of life in Barcelona. The city offers a wide array of three and four star establishments that provide excellent service. For longer stays consider apart-hotels, business accommodation or private fully furnished, fully equipped flats. What’s more, whether you’re looking to stay at the beach, in the city centre, perched in the surrounding mountains or out in the countryside, you’ll find it all either within or very close to this magnificent city.
Utilize the Barcelona City Hop-on Hop-off Tour which has three different tour routes to explore the city! See the major sights aboard an open-top double-decker bus, and with over 44 stops to choose from you can hop on and hop off all around the city. Spend as much or as little time at places of interest before jumping aboard for the next stop - the choice is yours!
