Fiona Flores Watson lives near Seville, is married to a Spanish engineer and has two children, who are being encouraged to be bilingual anti-bloodsport atheists. Fiona writes freelance articles for English and American newspapers, magazines and websites including Conde Nast Traveller, the Sunday Times, the Catholic Herald and concierge.com; she also teaches English. Before coming to Spain, she spent 10 years in London writing and editing award-winning contract magazines for British Airways, Virgin Atlantic, Diners Club, Vauxhall Motors and Orange mobile phones. Fiona has written about pretty much everything - restaurants, hotels and travel; shopping, design and art; business; motoring; religion and society in Spain; pregnancy and giving birth in Spain; and living in Spain as an expat working mother.
