Fiona Flores Watson has lived in Spain for 20 years, and has been a journalist since completing an MA in journalism at City University in London in 1992. As well as her blog and other features for Andalucia.com, Fiona writes freelance articles for newspapers, magazines and websites including the Telegraph, Independent, the Sunday Times, and Food & Travel; she also wrote part of the Lonely Planet guide, Experience Andalucia.

Fiona lives near Seville with her Spanish engineer husband and their two Anglo-Andalusi children. Over the years, Fiona has written about many topics including travel; business and marketing; motoring and technology; design and art. More recently, in Spain, her interests and experiences have led her to write features on the region’s fiestas and cultural events; beaches and monuments; hotels, restaurants and bars. Fiona also works as a copywriter, guide and translator, and translated an award-winning book about sherry, The Book of Sherry Wines.
