International Theatre Studio
(I.T.S.)
Amateur dramatic society in the Marbella and Estepona
area aimed at providing English language theatre for residents.
Founded in
the winter of 1975/76 as a non profit making organisation dedicated
to bringing legitimate theatre to the Costa del Sol and there
by
creating the opportunity for residents to participate in theatrical
activities.
The I.T.S. season from October to June season features
productions in El Ingenio Theatre in San Pedro Alcantara and
in the
theatre in Berg Park in Calahonda. The final production, a Glydbourne
type event in the gardens of the Marquesa de Salamanca's Marbella
home, is in aid of local charities.
Membership is 10 euros single, 16 euros double.
