Bahia Park Water Park - Algeciras

Just outside the port town of Algeciras near  Gibraltar and the Costa de la Luz (Tarifa, El Palmar, Conil de la Frontera), this park is also handy for the western end of the Costa del Sol such as Alcaidesa, Sotogrande, Manilva and Estepona.

Get a buzz on the eight rides, including Gran Niagara and Rio Salvaje, plus kamikaze and black hole; there's also an activity pool with a zipwire, and another pool with a 1000-litre bucket of water which gets tipped over swimmers. There is also a relatively new (2013)  new children's area with mini-versions of three rides (for up to 1.55m tall) and the largest jacuzzi in Andalucia.

All perfect for a family day out, the water park also puts on children's entertainment for the whole afternoon everyday, in addition to other occasional shows and performances. As well as restaurants, there's a shady picnic area.
