The Rocío Pilgrimage
Towards the end of May, El Rocio pilgrimage each
year assembles nearly one million people. More
Sounds of the Past (Aracena)
Ancient Music Festival. Held at the end of August
in the town's picturesque 14th century castle.
National Show of the
Huelva Prawn
Held at Punta Umbria in August. A million prawns
are distributed among the public and boats are available for charter
for tuna fishing trips.
Fountains of Fun
Takes place in the whitewashed mountain village
of Galaroza on 6th September. Villagers roam the streets with the
sole intent of soaking each other with water!
Film Festival
In Huelva during the month of November. This festival
brings together the best of new Latin American and Spanish cinema.
