Just as a small finnicky aside, I would suggest that you will need to travel a fair way out of Malaga before you would actually need a mountain bike, just a thought !

Re: Property in Malaga province advice please

I wonder why Torremolinos is always overlooked? Nearest "resort" to the airport / Málaga city with easy train, bus & motorway access, decent town centre, recently pedestrianised, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars & shops etc., new major shopping / leisure complex coming soon...

Hi, I don't know if you have scourced you unshelled peanuts yet but they have them in Aldi, In my local Aldi i...

Re: Gib/offshore accounts

Without going into personal reasons why, I can recommend Queensgate bank and trust, Georgetown, Grand Cayman. If you do decide to use Cayman Islands banking I suggest, if you are non resident there, a category A or B bank. Given there is no deposit insurance scheme it would not be high on my list o...

Re: Iphone repairs my opinion.

Nothing to do with screen repairs, but, I treat my cell phones with respect and have never needed any repairs, I own an iphone se bought 3 years ago and still pristine which I use solely for business calls and an LG K5 for personal use. The iphone cost me around €500 and the LG cost me €100, there i...

Re: Garages being auctioned/sold

I really don't know the legal implications of this but I would Imagine that these garages were built solely for the use of community residents, if there are 28 garages it would be presumably be 1 garage per abode, as the second phase of a further 14 house has now been knocked back would that not imp...

Re: Advice on winter rental please

Basically Torrox is one of God's waiting rooms, lot's of expat brits here who don't seem to have any ambition other than to sit in local bars and complain all day. Mostly it's the cliquishness (if that's a verb), I'm a pretty easy going, generally friendly passive guy with a decent pension who has t...

Re: Advice on winter rental please

Hi, I have spent the last three winters in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and have not been disappointed. I am currently living in Torrox pueblo which. for me, has been a mistake and I will be moving back to Las Palmas before Xmas. In Las palmas there is everything to fit your criteria, a good internati...
