Re: Three Cultures, Frigliana

There is a park and ride service from just outside the village. There is a short walk from where the bus drops you off to the centre of Frigiliana.

Landlord repairs

We have a pool on the roof of our apartment building. The pool is leaking and flooding our apartment, we informed the landlord days ago and he has not organized any repairs, can I withhold the rent until the work has been done? or is there some way to enforce the repairs.

Re: Velez Malaga

Spent a couple of hours walking around Velez Malaga only last week. Its an experience I will not be repeating.

Unless there is a specific reason to live in that area, I would seriously consider looking elsewhere.

Re: Estate Agent/ Property rental

Take care with Estate Agents in Nerja, a lot of them work from home and poach properties from other Agents. Be very careful when handing over deposits or any other kind of payment, you may never see it again.

Unfortunately Estate Agents are not regulated in Spain as they are in the UK.

Importing a British UK plated Motorcycle into Spain

I am considering importing a classic motorcycle into Spain from the UK. Has anyone done this recently and would share their experience with me?

I am Spanish resident. I don't want to buy a bike then find I don't have the necessary documentation to transfer to Spanish plates.

Thanks in anticipation.

Personal car rental

I often see advertisements from individuals renting out cars. These are not companies but individuals renting older cars they own which are insured by them.

Is this legal?

Re: taking a uk car to spain

It is not legal to drive a UK reg car in Spain if you are a resident in Spain. It is also not safe to drive a RHD car in Spain due to visibility issues.
