Re: places to hire a reasonable mountain bike (not high end) in Malaga city

hi could you tell me of places to hire a reasonable mountain bike (not high end) in Malaga city area? I will need one for about 5 days. thanks I was thinking if its 15 euros a day you may be better going to decathlon and buying a brand new cheap bike. I think they start at 69 euros. Surely someone ...

Re: taxi rates airport

I dont think it goes a far as the fountain, it may still terminate on or near Alameda Principal. They have altered the road so the old stop in Principal has gone. I personally would get the train and get off at Malaga Centro not Maria Zambrano. The walk to your address is a brisk 10 minutes or a 15 ...

Well your options if no buses to suit are rent a car, taxi or go the night before and get a cheap B and B.

I agree, I come through twice a month and get approached by illegal cabs every time. Not Spanish either.

Its nice most of the year but obviously windy compared to the CDS. In the summer months a lot less oppressive.

Re: camping in Tarifa - which options do we have: official and furthermore

Now the summer is over the tight restrictions on parking near the beach and in carparks in not as strict. The N340 south of Tarifa is popular with VW camper type of vehicles.

This was covered a couple of months ago. All taxis will have a blue rear plate to get rid of the illegal cabs operating.

You could try the Yamaha music school in Malaga. They are in the Teatinos area but you can get a bus from the city.

Re: interesting neighbourhoods in Malaga city area and beyond

Just east of the city centre is Pedregalejo and El Palo. Well worth a walk along or get the bus, nice bars and restaurants and a great atmosphere. Also a good mix of Spanish and cosmopolitan.

OK, opposite the port near where the big wheel was. 2 rental shops there. If you stand with your back to the bus station where the wheel was you will be facing the bike shops.

Re: Property in Malaga province advice please

Miro, thet is my view of Torremolinos too. Gradually changed since the 90s to appeal to spaniards. Quite a few hotspots but overall not expatland like Benalmadina. A large gay community, friendly and not rowdy. If looking at renting I imagine it should be ok. The pink pound etc. There is a really g...

Re: Bedbugs in rented flat - who pays?

Paying 700 euros in the centre is not a lot of money the way things have gone over the last 3 years. Air BNB have slaughtered the private long term rental market. I actually dont think you have much of a chance legally of getting any money from your landlord unless you have just moved in. Morally he...
