Yes, I used HELLOFAN - I did post on here asking what the code was, but I found it on Malagacar's website :-)

Re: Malagacar.com 15% discount

My heart sank when I saw the heading for this topic, as I have already booked with them ! Luckily, I'm not getting a Beamer (Beemer ?) so breathed a sigh of relief,,, :-)

OK. I'm back & have re-installed Synctoy x64. I'm going to have my lunch shortly, so will you be around say 2pm ? I've got TV running - ID 374 741 741 password on FB :-)

Re: Windows 7 - x86 ?

Hi Enrique, I have deleted all the files, & uninstalled Synctoy. I am going to re-boot & then download & install Synctoy again. This time perhaps you would be able to watch on Team viewer so you can see what I'm doing (probably wrongly ;-) ) - I'll post again when I'm back !

Re: Windows 7 - x86 ?

I think you've lost me about halfway through ! What I do (& have always done) is to set Synctoy up on the pc & run it to an external hard drive which is normally not connected to the pc. I did notice when setting it up, for the first time, that it seemed to be more complex than I remembered ...

Re: Windows 7 - x86 ?

I have now dowloaded, installed & run Synctoy :-) - one query - previously (on old XP) the Synctoy files were available to use straightaway, as they were stored in their original format. However, now when I click on the folder, all that appears is a DAT file - is this now how Synctoy works, or h...

Re: Windows 7 - x86 ?

OK, its 64 bit & therefore x64 - I've downloaded the x86, should I delete it & re-download the correct one, or doesn't it really matter ?

Windows 7 - x86 ?

I've just downloaded Synctoy to my W7 pc, but I was given a choice of x86 & another 'x' whose number I can't remember ! How can I check which type I have, to be sure I've got the right one before I install it ?

Re: Changing default picture opening program

Hi Enrique - I have got the info, and it's very helpful. However, I wasn't able to 'unclick' the file types in Irfanview, and there were so many, I decided the quickest solution was to uninstall Irfanview, which I have now done. I then went thro' all the file types, and changed the relevant ones to ...

Re: Changing default picture opening program

It's not just the .png files - I've been able to convert them to .jpg files once they're open - it's all the .jpg files that are now being opened with Irfanview that I want to change ! In 'the old days' (i.e.XP ;-) ), I could go to 'File Options' at the top, & get a list of file types & be a...

Changing default picture opening program

Hi
I downloaded Irfan view as I needed it to open a .png file. It has defaulted to be the file that opens .jpgs which I don't want ! How do I change it back to Microsoft Picture Manager in W7 ?

Cheers

Re: Water

I was in Malaga airport last May ! To be fair, apart from one trip to Alicante before we bought in Andalucia,(which was many years ago), Malaga is the only Spanish airport I use, and that did have water fountains years ago, but they disappeared fairly swiftly :-(

It would be good if they exrended this to include airports - water fountains dotted around in departures instead of the over-priced imported water ;-)
