The man came, said the trees could come down! Now our view is totally different, a shame, but I can now go to the end of the garden and not worry!

Re: Processionary Caterpillars

Our neighbour is going to the town hall to ask permission to chop the trees down. He is disabled...

Insulating a bedroom

One of our spare bedrooms gets very hot in the summer and freezing cold in the winter, we need to insulate the room. The ceiling is a sloping one, so we need to sort that too when fixing the heat/cold problem. The windows are fixed flush to the walls so I guess they will need moving. Any suggestions...

Re: Rain in Malaga, Granada etc

Morón de la Frontera had bad flooding yesterday around 7.30-8pm we are 10 km north, we had thunder and lightening but just a shower. Our friend was in Morón and sent a photo of a huge hailstone, bigger than a golf ball! Albuñol has problems, the rambla flooded with water, as they are supposed to, 3 ...

Rain in Malaga, Granada etc

Just watching the local Andalucia news on tv- looks like terrible storms were about yesterday/today. We have had just a few drops this way (Morón de la Frontera, Sevilla) just enough to make the car dirty but not to wet the ground. They said there was flooding in Cuevas san Marcos and Archidona. Alb...
