Re: Bed Specialist

Pikolin is a good make, we have a pikolin orthopedic mattress,as my husband has major spinal problems, its very comfortable, you just have to make sure you buy the largest size they have, remembering spanish matresses are much smaller.

Re: kitchen floor

The best long term solution is to tile the floor and then put down rugs or buy yourself a pair of sheepskin or wool lined ankle boots to wear indoors in the winter as myself and many other people do.

Re: Ebay.uk and Global Shipping Programme

if you dont normally have problems with couriers it works well.if like us the couriers in your area are not good then you will find if you have to contact the seller they will often wash their hands of the whole thing,as many dont even know how the system works and you will have to hunt down the goo...

Re: Gas range cooker. LPG

I dont know if you have a Media markt in your area but if you have they have a very good range of cookers, in terms of style, size and budget. We have had lots of items from them and found them to be helpful and reliable.

Re: outside boiler

Thanks all for your comments, much appreciated,we were also concerned about the waterproofing etc.
we may look into the instant heater as an alternative, but may be beyond the budget at present.

Re: Insulating a bedroom

If you try Bricomart at the moment they seem to have loads of different types of plasterboard and insulation.I did know of a couple years ago who had a similar problem in their lounge as it was very large and they insulated the ceiling and they said it made a huge difference in the warmth of the room.

Re: Acer Chromebook

Hi Thanks for the reply, i am not very teccie and i know how some reviews can be skewed sometimes, so first hand experiences are always helpful.I just needed something lightweight, straightforward as a secondary unit ,which if the reviews are correct it does what it says on the tin.

Re: Dog Feeding Frequency

Its probably the heat as others have said.I always feed mine smaller portions in the summer as they are not so active, smaller portions twice daily, earlier in the morning and later in the evening, pretty much similar to humans as we eat much less in the heat also.

Re: ?anyone know when this heatwave might end?

A persons body temperature is roughly 37,anything above that and the body is struggling to keep you cool,so its not surprising you can feel cream crackered for large parts of the day.Its 42c in the shade on our patio at the moment. It is wise to work early morning and late evening and to be kind to y...
