New shop Velez

Postby luckyjim » Tue Aug 19, 2014 5:38 pm

[*]we all like to know when something new opens. This is for any larger ladies who have problems with clothes locally . A new dress shop,. It is located down the road which runs along the side of Palacio shoes before you get to the Town Hall. I wish the Spanish would advertise these things.

There are plenty of clothes for larger ladies down the market. Those flowery wrap around tents that 99% of Spanish females over 50 wear. Cheap too :D

My wife returns from the UK this morning - I will let her know about this new shop. I'm sure she will visit it whilst I have a beer!

luckyjim you are best to ignore them, they are not worth a second thought. I am sure your post was helpful to some people. Many find it very difficult to get decent clothes here. I will thank you for your post.

Thank you, I was beginning to think about giving up on the forum, but, as you say they are in the minority.

Thankfully I am not as rude as you. If you think that your post is funny then fine, the fact others may be offended and or upset by will not matter to you. I actually found it insulting and did report it. I will bypass your comments in future.

I see Lidl are going into "high fashion" the media are quoting leather jackets at £15....although the small print says "faux" leather  will the leather pong like those cheap shops in Fuengy. Suppose it's an improvement from those track suit bottoms (complete with added fluff) they sell....will leather jackets match up with the expat shorts for 11 months of the year though

Maybe a regular posting of new places would be of interest.

That's a good idea, especially as many shops close down and move elsewhere constantly it can be hard to keep track.Personally I gave up on clothes here many years ago and use eBay instead.
