Near Orions belt.

Thanks for the heads up..........currently cloud cover in my location (Spain). Plus moon not set until 00:17
02:00 mentioned as best time to view subject to clear sky.
PS: Have you started olive picking yet Looks a good crop up this way.

Hmm currently cloud here too ( Spain). Might be different in a few hours .
Some harvesting here of early ripening varieties but the bulk is Feb . That is us too. Looks to be better than average harvest. I will pm last years outurn in a few weeks. We have examples of “African olive fly” here. There is always something.
Just been out gone 1.15. Saw six in less than ten mnutes. Lucky break in the cloud. Bitterly cold wind so gave up.

Currently (22:56) looking good .........10 in well under 10 mins.........just wrap up ,its 2c here..........
