Pre EU, British passports were black and my burgundy passport has always worn a black leather cover. I voted against joining back in the early seventies and have neither changed my opinion nor the colour of the cover. Might have to get a blue cover next, why not black again ? I am rather fond of my old black cover.

I am not that bothered that I would buy a blue cover. When my passport comes back it will be valid for ten years so I will always have a burgundy colour passport even if they do change the colour when we leave the EU.

EU-badged car registration plates could become another 'badge of honour', in one direction or another... :problem:

I wonder if Brussels will change all the EU flags, website logos etc. Could be costly.
