Travelling to Cadiz

Postby nell69 » Wed Jan 23, 2019 1:43 am

Hi everyone, we are travelling in Spain from 18/2/19 to 21/3/19 and have pre booked our travel between destinations using both bus and train. We've come to a grinding halt getting from the Marbella area to Cadiz on the 12/3/19. We are trying to avoid car hire as we both have long commutes when working in the UK and wanted a rest from driving. I'm pretty sure there isn't a direct bus but was wondering if there is anywhere we could get to from Marbella and then transfer on to Cadiz. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cádiz is fabulous. Don’t miss out the Cádiz Provincial Museum as it’s amazing.

Thanks for your replies. I have e-mailed the company as when you go to their website that route doesn't seem to exist. Fingers crossed and thanks again.

Just scroll down all the towns are listed...

This is the option from Mario Zambrano, i assume you be arriving to Malaga and can check interim stops as these may stop in Marbella.
There is info desk and they will help you,
So you know the train and bus station side by side at Mario Zambrano in Malaga, it may be worth your while getting a bit of info when you arrive...

Does it have to be via Marbella? If not Malaga Seville Cadiz route.

hi costakid, we are staying between Puerto Banus-Estepona prior to Cadiz so thought it would be easier to pick a bus up there rather than going to Malaga. Thanks for that option though.

Can you fit in a stop at Ronda en-route? You might look into the possibility of going through Grazema which is lovely countryside ... but perhaps the bus route goes on the motorway?

Hi Gasman, we are planning on visiting Ronda in the 9 days we are staying on the coast. Any tips for our day out there?

Here's the schedule. Definitely opt for the express bus.
