Carmona, Ecija and Osuna

Postby olive » Mon Oct 07, 2019 9:01 pm

We need to collect something from a village between these three towns. Rather than two journeys of three hours each way we are planning two nights and some sightseeing.

We have been to Osuna a few times and Carmona back in the 80’s. Current choice of two of three hotels, Casa- palacIo de carmona, Domus Astigi Ecija, la Casona de Calderon.

Has anyone got favourite cafes/ bar/ restaurants or indeed any other places of interest ? Can be out of town or not so well known. Alternative hotels with ambience or age? Private parking or pet friendly

We will pull in some of the better known tourist attractions

Lovely. We stayed two nights in carmona in march. Did a day trip to ecija and stopped in osuna on the way back. I was really impressed with ecija. More modern and bigger than carmona but with some gorgeous squares and churches and palaces. In ecija there was a brand new bouitique hostal in the sqaure just behind plaza espana. Where the santa maria church is. It looked beautiful and cheap. Cant think of the name but i saw it on trip advisor .Ill find ot of you are intrested.
