Electric Blanket

Postby kexon » Sun Dec 21, 2014 1:47 pm

I hope this info may help those looking for an electric blanket.Try your local ferreteria, most have a magazine available to browse and take home with you.We found a double size, which is larger than a average double with dual controls for 99 Euros.I realise some may think this expensive however postage from UK is getting so expensive the price difference was insignificant. We made our order the shop phoned within three days and its super warm.Only one thing the blanket does not have any holes for ties.We just made our own and tied over and it works well.Hope this helps someone keep warm this winter.

Loads for sale on Amazon Spain. Much cheaper than €99

Better still, get an all night electric duvet! That will have to come from the UK though, but worth it.

Firstly we don't need an all night duvet as we have an extremely warm goose down duvet.Secondly don't remember anyone mentioning where to buy electric blankets the last time anyone asked.Thirdly am heartily fed up having to order so much online. Also although classed as a double the size is more a king size which often cost considerably more.Makes you wonder why so few brother posting on here sometimes !!

Err - why?

No one asked you where to buy an electric blanket. You posted a suggestion and so did two others.

Do you have a problem with that - if so, I cannot imagine why.

I posted the suggestion as newcomers often ask where to purchase an electric blanket, often they have no idea where to begin to look for one. Some people may not have internet access. Not everyone is an Amazon fan or wishes to use online services.I thought an alternative would be helpful to some, rather than the endless Amazon mantra from some on this forum.

I know I shouldn't ask but if people don't have internet access then how are they going to read your message?

I couldn't recall seeing too many people asking where to get electric blankets on this forum and, having searched, still can't find much.

Maybe that explains Kexon's reference to not having internet access??
