Hi there everyone. Random question I know, but I'm sure I saw in a paper? That there was a group of women that make patchwork quilts for a good cause somewhere on the Costa? Benalmádena springs to mind ?
Mum had boxes and boxes of material already precut into square, diamonds, hexagons etc to make patchwork quilts but never got round to it.
To save us throwing all her stuff away we would rather it goes to a good cause.
Does anyone know what the group is that I'm talking about?

My wife is an "offshore member" of Quilters del Sol and has really enjoyed meeting the resident members when we are out there. I guess they will snap your arm off when they get the offer of the material. Sorry for you loss Spanish lad, I lost my mother in November aged 97 and I still think of her everyday.

Thanks scotty. Mum was only 63, she had a couple of strokes and never recovered. Its been a big shock to us all.
They have replied and we are going to sort it out for them and donate it to them, i would much rather that than throw it away

Well done Spanish Lad. My wife nearly booked a flight from Dublin when I told her about the stash. The ladies will put it all to good use.
