One possible advantage of no longer being out in the wilds....ordered a laptop battery this afternoon. Will edit and put when it is delivered....
Edit/update: smily man from MRW has just handed me my parcel.....less than 24 hours from placing the order!

I frequently get amazon products delivered next day to Correos.

Me too, I cannot fault their delivery always when they say, and trackable usually.
Just lately they have two of my orders in transit but well overdue, they keep on apologising, or their machine does.
I will tell them one day that they were delivered at the original date.

A shame that they are not recognised for deliveries then. I want to order the tiniest bottle of special strengthener for my nails but Amazon.es will not accept my address nor will deliver to the PO as a collection point for some reason. I have to ask long suffering friends with a town address if I can get it sent there.

Wicksey, that is the perfect circumstance to use an Amazon collection point? There must be one near you?

Peter, I said that the PO is also an Amazon delivery point but they won't deliver it there either. Normally that's what I do as it works so well.

If you want to be sure that it will qualify for pick up point delivery, make sure it is listed as Amazon Prime. Lots of "marketplace" stuff cannot be delivered to a pickup point.

It was Amazon Prime too, Sid! It's now on its way to my friend's house.
