New Year in Malaga (not Christmas at home)

Do you have a query on how to get things done in Andalucia, where to find things, who to call? Find out by posting and hear about others experiences.

New Year in Malaga (not Christmas at home)

Postby zanuck » Sat Sep 24, 2005 10:37 pm

Rather than hijack Poshtotti's thread with it's interesting responses about Christmas and Parsnips; thought I'd start a new one.

We'll be over for New Year from 31 Dec until 7 Jan "inland" from Torre del Mar.

What should we expect in the way of celebrations, closed or open shops etc?

Go to see the Christmas lights in Malaga city they are fantastic and not to be missed. There is also a huge life size Nativity scene by the Cathedral and one inside. You will have to join the queue to go through. Shops are shut Christmas day only
