Postby RaybertK » Sat May 18, 2019 6:20 pm

Hi everyone,
Thinking of moving to Benomacarra.
Anybody who lives in the village your advice and experiences would be welcome.
What are the public transport/ taxi links from the village to Velez,Malaga etc.
Hope someone can help.
Regards ,
Ray.

Most of those villages have 1 or 2 buses a day to the nearest big town, yours being Velez. Taxi would be about 8 euros I think.

Our house is just up the road at Iznate. I drive through or round Benamocarra when I go to Velez. The only times I stop are to go to the barbers. Nice bloke, 7 euros for a haircurt. To my knowledge there are no taxi companies in Benamocarra, getting there from Velez is no problem, going the other way could be. The Iznate bus is twice a day and passes through/stops there.
The Axarquia is a very picturesque area with Lake Vinuela and Mount Maroma. Personally, I wouldn't want to have to rely on public transport or taxis.
