Angle beads (Qué?) and lots of other stuff.

Angle beads are lengths of "L" shaped metal in mesh form.

When plasterig walls, at external corners, the angel bead is embeded in the plaster and the junction of the two legs is a solid stip of metal which prevents the plaster from breaking off when knocked. When our house was built they weren't invented. You only have to look at the walls and plaster falls off
