Roller door catch

Postby Wicksey » Mon Dec 05, 2016 11:59 am

Has anyone seen these for sale here? Not sure what it would be called.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Adjustable-Ro ... 1951322175

In the winter we open and close the living room door umpteen times a night as the cats keep wanting to go in and out. Apart from putting in a catflap which would ruin the door, we have no choice other than to keep opening it and now the existing latch has broken. A roller ball type would be easier to just push and pull.

(Plenty for sale on the internet but P&P is horrendous, cheapest I have found is over 8 pounds, up to 14 pounds - ridiculous for a 2 pound door catch!)

Hi Wicksey,
No need to know what its called.........print off a picture of the style you want and pop down to your local family run Ferretería.
All my best learning experiences start with a problem I need to solve.

I was considering going to the ferreteria but I've never seen them here so thought maybe they wouldn't understand what I was asking for. Yes, I could take a picture or put it on my phone, thanks Enrique.
