Hi all,
It seems a bit of a no-brainer to run a pool pump off Solar PV given that your pump is primarily running during the sunshine hours. My plan is to run a batteryless Hybrid / Off-Grid system to power the pool pump - the Solar PV Panels will power the Inverter directly and if insufficient power is being generated, then grid power will be used instead. We would plan to look later at a battery bank.
So to get 2kw of power, realistically, what size of panel array would I need - 10 x 300w ? Or more ? Or less ?
I was looking at ATERSA.SHOP website but they appear somewhat expensive (at least for the panels). Any other suggestions for another online supplier (or one in Almeria area)

Re: Solar for Community Pool Pump
10 panels seems alot of money to pay out just to run the pool pump, is it "worth it" - whats the payback time on the investment ? Is everyone "up for it" / contributing ?
My 260w panel was 160€. actually sent from spain, bought via ebay i think ?
