where to plant young lime tree?

I have just bought a young lime tree ,,, 'bout 4-5ft tall ... ?can anyone tell me what/where it will need eg full or less sun, abundant or less water etc? any advice gratefully received ... thanks in advance

You need sun and plenty of irrigation. Dig a big hole and plant it in a mixture of sustrato and compost. Make a moat round it to keep the water in.

thanks very much Sid for your comments ... most helpful in locating the right place in the garden ... now to dig the big hole ... having planted a young walnut tree recently, I know what effort is involved in digging said hole in rock-filled soil! thanks again for your help ... and Happy New Year to you and family ...

We always put some water retaining crystal in the bottom of the hole mixed up with the substrate.
