New TV

Postby Flashman » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:45 pm

Looking to buy a new TV in the next few days. As we're only over there for a week can any of you full time residents point us in the right direction? Which stores should we try, don't necessarily want to spend all our time walking around retail parks. Any sales on?

Sorry, location would have been helpful. We're just south of Granada..... were already Samsung devotees so it's really where to buy that's the issue...

You can do some online comparisons on thefollowing

Carrefour ( large supermarket with good electrical dept)

Media mart ( huge Curry like store)

Also try Conforama

All three stores are on the industrial estate on the right as you drive up the inner ring road. Pulianas turn off.

We bought an LG 4K SmartTV earlier this year on offer at Carrefour and we're very pleased with it. You can look at their brochure (folleto) online before you come to see what may be on offer https://www.carrefour.es/

There is now a new Media Markt in the huge Nevada Centre near the turn off the motorway to the Sierra Nevada.

Personally, I have always found the best deals are online and this site is good and a number of friends have also used it.

If you don't want to order online, it will show you some prices for comparison.

Referring back to my suggestion of looking at Electroprecio prices, they have a huge selection of TVs from all makers on their site together will full details of their specifications. The alternative is to traipse though endless makers websites trying to get the data.

You say you want to buy a Samsung (presumably because of the better UK catcthup app availability), but what size are you looking at and what specific facilities do you need.

There are many Samsung owners on this site and I am sure they will be well prepared to help you with the decision of which TV to buy - they certainly helped me with my last purchase.
