Hi ive got a couple of TV from Carrfour which although cheap and chear full are actually very good for the price. Unfortunately as one is in the kids room and the other in the main room and thanks to our new puppy both remotes are on the brink of death. the Oki one has died cracked and smashed and the TD system one on the 50 inch tv's enter button no longer works.
The problem is that Ive never ever got the chinese universal remotes to work, even with auto scan and codes. Ive never even been able to program the old sky tv remote to take the phillips or sony tvs.
has anyone else had the same problem if it was a samsung LG or sony there are direct replacements to buy in media martk bur not for these "white label" tv which Im sure are rebranded all over europe as other names but are essentiallu the same make and models.
are the "all in one" option as easy as they claim I never can see oki or td systemn on the list but you never know,
cheers in advance for any advice

Re: TD Sytem and Oki Remote Controls
Try Logitech's 'Harmony' intelligent remote.
You can select the devices (tv's, etc) you have from their website, and download so buttons do the right thing.
Can cope with up to 4 devices, iirc.
You can also customise, so selected buttons do what you prefer.

Yes, I'd forgotten about some of their hyper-expensive ones.
