Is anyone having problems with Google news not opening articles and just going to a Spanish help desk?

Was google news removed in Spain a few years ago, due to EU rules about paying news providers?
Perhaps this is something related? Hence the Spanish help desk you are redirected to?

Just tried going to google news, via google search and also redirected to help site...in SPainish
Went to google news Uk, ( https://news.google.com/?hl=en-GB&gl=GB&ceid=GB:en ) and working fine...
So sounds like you were trying to access Google News Spain, which is no more...
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

I use 'Google (No country redirect)'

Depending on your browser you may be able to add it to your list of search engines from here:

Interesting.
The link i provided is still working fine here (Valencia) on Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera and Vivaldi browsers, using Movistar as ISP...

But if you click on a story it reverts to the Spanish 'help' page.

It looks as though Google have been messing around with the news and that the new version is not available in Spain:

https://support.google.com/googlenews/a ... ic=7688381

It works with a VPN.

Thanks Beach but that didn't work either, but an interesting area for me to develop.

Good news today however as all my systems have have been restored and I am back to normal in Winsdows, Linux and Chrome OS. No idea what's changed!

Thankyou all for your interest and input.

I still get news via the Google App but the links take you direct to the hosting website.
