Driving Licence Medical

Postby country boy » Wed Feb 20, 2019 4:48 pm

I was having a discussion with a friend about the testing methods at the medical centre regarding the reaction times machine which has a cursor moving horizontally across the screen and disappearing into a void (shed) before reappearing the other side. The question was, when are you supposed to press the button:
!. As soon as it disappears
2. Just before it reappears
3. Any time it is in the "shed".
I always assumed it was "2" but he says "3"
What's the official answer if anyone knows please.

The tester told me that it is "Just before it reappears"
It is a test of how well you can judge the speed of the object when you can see it and so, when will it reappear.
so your assumption is correct.
