It's out of date. It will take the Junta ages (as usual) to update their information. The new rates were only agreed on Thursday. The PP and Ciudadanos have been pushing for it for some time, but the socialists were against it. Now they no longer have a majority, Ciudadanos refused to sign of next year's budget unless they gave in. It worked!

I assume you mean the highest allowances - rather than highest rates ?

Back to the CGT on selling a property...what if one of us is 65 and the other not and the property is in joint names?

You will be liable for CGT on the part owned by the person who is under 65.

It's a real minefield for ex-pats. However, that solicitor should not be allowed to get away with that. He should be sent a letter demanding the €680 be returned. You have to be firm with these snakes or they'll keep biting others.

Dont they have a complaints book like other business or an authority you can complain to.
