Hello Andalucia!
I hope you can help. I'm trying to rent out my friends house in Huetor Tajar as a holiday rental. Is this allowed or does he have to register his house?
I was just reading this article:
http://www.surinenglish.com/20160205/ne ... 51213.html
which makes me think he has to register his house, although it says the houses in Rural Locations are exempt... help please!

Re: Holiday Rentals
It doesn't say that rural houses are exempt. It does say that there are already different regulations for rural properties.
From memory the regs for rural houses are a little less onerous than for urban properties if only concerning the provision of aircon but to answer, formally, your first question, rural properties need a licence from the Junta and, thus, registration. Many people, however, just take the risk.

Re: Holiday Rentals
Hello to all...
This is my first posting and new to this site, hope you can help...
We have a property on a Ubanization and we are looking at renting it as a holiday let over the summer months.
We are aware of changes in the law but don’t really know the extent of these, could anyone help with information please?
Many thanks.
