You cannot print it out. You need to import it into your browser.

This is how you do it in Firefox:

Thanks.
I have imported the certificate in Chrome and it is in my downloads but what I cannot do is print it out.

It says 'open in' and I've tried various but none work!

Hi Unicorn,
Why are you trying to Print it out..........no need............... :?:

:!: The main thing to do with a New Certificate is Export it from your Browser and save to at least two off-line media. :!:

I need to print it because I am selling a property. Somehow my neighbour managed to print out the last one I had, before I renewed it last year.

A personal Digital Certificate is used in your Browser to access Spanish Government sites .

I am not sure. Last time I thought I had a sale I was asked to print it out and we did. It is one sheet of paper with a bar code, title 'Certificado'.

Hi Unicorn,
Look at the Exported Digital Signature file and Google how to print "the file type"

Example filename.p12

Re: Help Digital Certificate Update

Postby Unicorn » Fri Mar 16, 2018 2:31 pm

Hi again

I just saw the lawyer who is dealing with the sale of my property and they said I have to print out a document from my digital signature to prove I am tax resident. I have imported it but it refuses to appear and be printed.

Can anyone help??????

What they probably mean but did not explain very well is that you need to use your digital certificate on the AEAT web site to obtain a certificate such as this:

https://www.agenciatributaria.gob.es/AE ... G304.shtml

this:

https://www.agenciatributaria.gob.es/AE ... G305.shtml

or this:

https://www.agenciatributaria.gob.es/AE ... G306.shtml

Just having a digital certificate is not proof that you are a tax resident.

If yous still wanting to print it for whatever reason then i would suggest you just open it with properties or Internet Options in IE or something like that and take a screenshot , you can then print the screenshot .

We did this onetime with Ryanair where we had it on screen but the print or download option didnt work so we did a screenshot and it worked when scanned at the airport so now we do that every time just in case theres a problem bringing it up on the App

I asked for a new digital certificate and in the town hall office they told me it no longer works with windows, only firefox and explorer.

So, I have imported new one into firefox but still cannot get the document out. It is to declare that I am fiscally resident. When I open it it says open with crypto shell.

I do not understand?

Also I have backed it up with a password which it now says is wrong.

Any ideas folks?

Hi Unicorn,
"the town hall office they told me it no longer works with windows, only firefox and explorer."

Windows is an Operating System, Firefox and IE are Browsers...........

So when you go onto the site where the "fiscal" document is it will give you the option of using a Digital Signature or CL@ve PIN to access this

If you have a valid Digital Certificate in your chosen Browser it will then allow you to access the "fiscal " document that you can then Print off.

How did you import it if it says the password is wrong?

If you mean the password it asks for when trying to open the link on the AEAT web site, that is not the password you used to back it up but the Firefox master password.
