Good Morning
Please advise if it is correct that my Gestor treats my UK State Pension as Full Income on my Annual Resident Spanish Tax Return together with my Quarterly Pension received from South Africa. Yesterday I was advised that I have now been assessed for 2017 and will have to pay Euros 1,400.00. Last year I paid nothing. I am already paying a Back Spanish Tax Bill of Euros 3,000.00 monthly for 1 Year.
Thank You
David

He is correct. You have to pay tax on your worldwide income (unless it is a UK Government pension).

HI Sid
What is the difference between a UK Sate Pension and a UK Government Pension. Excuse my ignorance here.
Thank You

A Government pension is paid as a result of government service, typically police, armed forces, teachers, civil service etc.

A Government (occupational) pension is now added to your total income to see if you reach the taxable limit, even though it isn't taxed here, so it may result in you paying tax on your other income as it did for me one year.
