I need an Energy Performance Certificate quickly Fuengirola/Mijas area

Postby winniesmum » Wed Dec 11, 2019 9:23 am

Unfortunately due to ill health I have to put my house up for sale as soon as possible and need to get an EPC.

Does anyone have any recommendations for my area please? Or at least give me an idea of what to expect to pay.

Thank you,

winniesmum

Hi, I don't know whether you are using an Estate agent for the sale, I guess you will be.

They have contacts to get the EPC done. We had one done in July via our agent and it cost 150e.

Do they ever get them? All you see is pending on websites! Sounds as legit as the ones in the uk that got pulled

Yes, we had "pending" on our for sale listing too. It was marketed without one and was only carried out when house was sold and initial holding deposit paid.

Thanks all for the replies.

Looks like 150 - 200 is about right then. I'll keep that in mind.

So thats how they do it.thanks i think in the uk they made you do it straight off and it only lasted so long so if the house didnt sell ou needed another one after x amount of time. Typical uk money making scam

Dunno why they bother. Most of the spanish property has no insulation. How they get away with it is beyond me - i thought there were EU regs.
