Paying Renta & IBI
Is it possible to make payments direct to either or both of these ? If so, does anyone know the bank details needed ? I have both bills to pay, but no funds in my Spanish bank account, so my step daughter has said she will make the payments. I'm not sure how that would work with regards to the Renta ?

Perhaps others are like me - wondering why you don’t just transfer funds into your Spanish bank, and give those details to the Ayuntamiento and Agencia Tributaria for them to debit the bills?

Yes, that's what I've asked her to do, but so far, no response.....

Re: Paying Renta & IBI
Update
I eventually got the funds , and paid the Renta. The IBI however is causing me to lose the will to live . I have spent god knows how long on the phone to Spain, racking up my phone bill. I managed to get banking details via email from the Recaudacion office, but when I tried to make atransfer onlone, there was a problem with the 'concepto'. So this morning I phioned Recaudacion again, and was told to use my matricula number. Tried that, didn't work. So next I phoned the bank (Unicaja) who basically said they had no idea & I should go back to Recaudacion. So I did, and they said 'phone your bank'..... they also said that the only way to pay was either via online transfer, or at an ATM.
So, has anybody made a transfer to Recaudacion for their IBI, and if so, what 'concepto' did you use ?
