Pallets?

Postby Stalvik » Tue Dec 05, 2017 12:18 am

Hi!
Does anyone have any intel on where I can lay my hands on some pallets. Preferably for free. Will use them for crafting stuff.
Thanks in advance!

Hola

Any that are left lying around at this time of year are usually quickly snapped up for firewood

Summer time is the best for pallets. I mostly use them for fire wood. But will be looking to strip them for projects. Maybe a shed and stuff. Have a look at the local dump. There’s always plenty near us on the ay to velez Malaga. Not sure where you are iphone doesn’t show location.

We will be in Martos. I'm planning on using them as outdoors furniture etc. :)

Some good videos on YouTube re making stuff. Try your local builders merchants. Milanuncios aswell.

My son made these last year (the bench & planters) from old pallets - he'd never done any carpentry before, so I think he did a pretty good job

If you’re going to be stripping pallets down keep away from the blue or euro pallets as there a pig to get apart. Toooo many nails.

There's a guy in Alhaurín el grande that sells the thin pallets for 50c and the blue ones for making furniture for 3 euro.
