Netflix Query

Postby Chunky Monky » Mon Jun 04, 2018 5:22 pm

I can login to my daughter's UK Netflix account without any problems using my Samsung phone and tablet.

My daughter has recommended a Spanish tv series called La Casa de Papel, also known as The Money Heist. She can watch this in the UK dubbed into English. The problem is when I put this program on, here in Spain, there is no English option under the languages section, just two versions of Spanish.

I have tried using Smarty DNS and Smarty VPN set to London UK but Netflix detects Smarty as a 'Blocker' and will not play.

Has anybody else come across a similar problem? TIA

Netflix will work with SMART DNS and simply choose English language in the Audio menu and it will play the dubbed version.....this is what you should see which is a lot more than the 2 Spanish Language settings

Well maybe its the Android version of the Netflix App thats not giving you the options, but its giving me all the options as shown on my laptop (mac os). Is your Netflix App the latest Version for Android?

I've un-installed Netflix and re-installed it again. No joy.
It's a puzzle.

I use ExpressVPN. Seems to be the only one that outfoxes Netflix.

I use my daughters Netflix account and don’t even have to use a VPN.

It’s not necessary to use a VPN to watch Netflix in Spain. The reson why some people use one is that it’s possible to change the content available.
It’s actually a great and probably the simplest way to watch TV in the English language without having to pay too much and in your case, free because you use you daughter’s account.

Better than Netflix is Terrarium.

You can’t be serious surely. It may be free on an Android box but it surely wont have anything like the same choice as Netflix at a much higher picture quality.

Since you use Netflix for free I can’t see why you favour Terranium.

You get what you pay for. Free is cheap but not necessarily good..

I like watching a lot of the old stuff and can’t find it on Netflix, hence Terrarium. Each to their own.
