Help with mag 254

Postby snorbs » Sun Apr 03, 2016 8:12 am

I changed the screen layout yesterday morning and have lost all tv channels and / or settings options that allow me to change this layout. radio and video club do still work

i have undertaken factory reset on box but issue persists

iptv provider says they have no idea how to solve

it would be ideal to post a photo of the screens here - how do i do this?

Thanks Gerry

Here are the images of the two issues the first show the iptv portal but no tv channels albeit my 134 favourites are shown at the bottom of image but nothing showing above

the second here showsthe screen layout since i changed the layout yesterday. I am not using a stalker iptv list but a local provider. I cannot find any way to get back to original blue screen media option on the portal of the iptv provider

any help would be really grateful even if its just to clarify if this is a box issue that will be difficult to resolve on an issue with my profile with the providers portal

Very surprised that the provider can't help, they should easily be able to re-programme it for you.

Have you tried a factory reset ?
1 unplug Mag254
2 push and hold the button with 3 dots and 3 lines and plug power back in you should have a blue screen with settings.
3 Check and change your setting exit save and reboot

Things you may need to change
1 Video settings should be set to your TV settings (AUTO)
2 You should be booting from nand or nand 2 which ever that works for you.
3 Factory Reset. ( Screen shows def. setting )
4.If you have done a factory reset you will notice you get a DHCP error you will repeat step 1 to boot back in the bios and simply change the BOOT mode from DHCP to NAND2 then exit and save this will do a factory default and you can start over.
