Wide fairways winding between stands of pine and
jacaranda trees temp you at Guadalmina Sur Golf Course, one of the
coast's oldest residents.
Considered the more difficult of Guadalmina's 45
holes, it is the Costa del Sol's second oldest golf course. The
raised greens are an encouragement to attack the pin. Henry Cotton
named the long seventh hole Tipperary as it's a long way to go!
At the fifteenth there is a bunker waiting to catch anything that
falls short and from the tee, tunnel vision is an advantage in order
to successfully drive between two stands of tall pine.
Address: Urb. Guadalmina Alta. 29678 San Pedro Alcántara, Marbella, Málaga.
Directions: the golf course is about 1 kilometre from San Pedro Alcántara towards Estepona.
