View of "La Concha" across the port.
This is a natural park located right at the foot of the Sierra Blanca mountain at the urbanisation Marbella Sierra Blanca, next to the School. It has picnic tables and plenty of shade to enjoy a great day out in the country. It has a well equiped bbq area with tables and cooking facilities.
It's a great place to get out of the busy town centre, it will give you a great opportunity to enjoy nature, surrounded by tall pine trees with the beautiful La Concha mountain backdrop. It is an ideal retreat during the summer offering plenty of shade and children in particular will enjoy climbing the trees. Sadly the playground that was once there has now been removed by the council, but it still remains a great family friendly area.
It is advisable not to visit this park on bank holidays or a Sunday, as it is a very popular place for the locals so it will not be as enjoyable as on another day, and difficult to find a pic-nic spot. In any case, you should get there as early as possible to secure a good table for you pic-nic!
