Calling all Golfers!

You are cordially invited to play with the Andalucia.com team at the Spring Centenary Golf Tournament organised by the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain. As a member of the Chamber, Andalucia.com is looking forward to your participation on Friday March 7th at the Marbella Golf and Country Club for a good day out, a great game of golf and the chance to socialise WITH Chamber members at the Lloyds TSB Spain sponsored event.

If you'd like to enter a team to play, the cost is just 98€ per person, which includes your green fee and a shared buggy, plus a fabulous 3 course lunch with wine. The format of the day is a shotgun scramble in teams of 4, with a prize giving to follow after lunch. Players are asked to arrive promptly for registration at 8.45am, with tees booked for 9.30am and are encouraged to invite their partners to lunch, at an additional cost of 36€ per person. Our local branch of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain offers you the perfect chance to engage in high level networking in Andalucia. It's time once again for the transformation of Andalucia when Easter is observed with such fervour and passion that visitors pour into the region from the rest of Spain and abroad to experience history coming to life in solemn processions. This month we also meet up with Málaga born contemporary artist Diego Santos, well known at home and abroad. Santos is dedicated not only to a wide variety of art forms, but also to retro-style interior design - and saving a dying species of local architecture: the bulky leftovers of a 1950's era that put the Costa del Sol on the map.

If you are a fan of the equestrian arts, visit our new, improved section devoted to horses in southern Spain. We have everything from the history of the world famous breed that originates here to information about where to see the best displays of Andalusian horsemanship.

Congratulations Robert Magits!

Lloyds TSB Belgian born Robert Magits has been promoted to Team Leader for the in-house sales staff at Andalucia.com and we would like to congratulate him not only on his new title, but also on the hard work and dedication that have earned him this promotion.

Robert is a Commercial Engineer who began his professional career in Brussels with J.P. Morgan Euroclear in a range of sales and sales management positions. After four years, he moved into a more Business Development and Marketing role with a European IT Consulting company and was quickly promoted to Sales Manager of a team of four Account Managers. Robert is fluent in English, Spanish, French and Dutch, he is currently learning Italian. He joined Andalucia.com as an Accounts Manager in July 2006.
