Seville Province - Almensilla

Almensilla was built over farmland that, in the Middle Ages, was converted into a hamlet belonging to the Palomares del Rio town hall. It became independent from the said town in 1837. This town is part of the Ruta del Mosto.

One of the most important monuments in Almensilla is the Church ofr Nuestra Señoa de la Antigua. It’s a Mudejar style building that was reconstructed in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. Another interesting building is the San Diego abbey, built in the last century.
