The history of Coria del Rio was written by the river Guadalquivir - it hydrates the soil in the surrounding land and brought the Phoenicians, Tartessians, Romans and Arabs to the town. Various artefacts have been found in this area to prove that all the aforementioned cultures once inhabited this town.
