Olivares is a town with Roman roots. Visitors may enjoy getting to know the town’s history by walking through its streets and looking at its various historical buildings and sites. For nature lovers, the town’s most attractive site is probably the Corredor Verde del Guadiamar – a protected area, close to 3000 hectares in size, that runs along the middle stretch of the river Guadiamar and that is also and natural passageway connecting Doñana with the Sierra Morena.
